Potluck:

Please feel free (no obligation) to bring some food or beverages to share. This is an alcohol free event - I guess that’s no surprise.

It’s also Sattvic Vegetarian, which is a bit of a step beyond regular garden variety vegetarian. This is an old yoga tradition to do with the effect different foods have not only on the body, but on the mind. Here’s what that looks like:

  1. No meat of any kind

  2. No eggs

  3. No onions, mushrooms or garlic (including minute amounts listed microscopically, or vaguely - think ‘spices’, under ingredients or additives. Assume we are vampires, and garlic is deadly to us)

If you find this a bit daunting, but want to learn something new, check out this amazing sattvic recipe site: www.Simplysentient.org  Or just keep it simple and bring some nice juice to share, or invite a friend who is an awesome cook and get them to take care of it!

Very much looking forward to some of my most special friends meeting one another and meditating together.
